Water lines and hose spigots

Need water somewhere the house spigot does not reach? We run a live water line and put a spigot or yard hydrant exactly where you want it: by the pool, the garden, the outdoor kitchen, the dock or the far corner of the yard.

Freeze-proof hydrants

A freeze-proof yard hydrant shuts off below the frost line and drains its standpipe every time you close it, so you can have water outside all winter. They are the right choice for barns, gardens and anywhere you need water in January.

A new line leaves the house supply, runs under the lawn below the frost line, and rises to a freeze-proof yard hydrant that shuts off and drains below the frost line.HouseFrost lineShut-off at the houseYard hydrantValve shuts anddrains down hereNew line, trenched below the frost line

Clean installation

We trench the line with a narrow machine trench or by hand where roots and plantings need it, and restore the lawn when we are done. Lines that cross under new patios or walks get a sleeve first, so they can be serviced later without lifting stone.

How it works

  1. Pick the spot

Tell us where you want water and how you will use it.

  2. Plan the route

We find the best tie-in and the shortest clean route.

  3. Trench and install

The line goes in below the frost line where needed, and the spigot or hydrant is set.

  4. Restore

The trench is backfilled and the lawn put back.
