Landscape lighting
Low-voltage LED lighting from FX Luminaire, designed to show off the house, the trees and the garden, light the way to the door and keep the property safe. Zoned, dimmable and controlled from your phone.

What we light
- Paths, steps and drives
- Path lights and step lights so guests can find the door and nobody misses a step.
- Trees and plantings
- Uplights under specimen trees and shrubs, and moonlighting from up in the canopy.
- The house
- Up-lighting and wall washes that bring out the architecture without glaring into the windows.
- Decks, patios and pools
- Lights built into steps, rails and walls, and soft area light where you sit.
- Security lighting
- Light in the dark corners, along fences and at the doors, with motion control where it helps.
- Signs and commercial properties
- Sign lighting and facade lighting for businesses that want to be seen after dark.
Light the corners, leave the shadows
A house lit evenly from end to end looks flat. Light the corners of each wall that steps forward and let the inset walls stay darker, and the house gets its depth back. Fixtures right under windows flatten the front, and a few lights out in the yard move the eye across the property instead of stopping it at the front door.
Balance matters as much as brightness: one side of the house should not be brighter than the other, and the path should glow, not glare.
Why FX Luminaire
We use FX Luminaire fixtures and controls. The LEDs use a fraction of the power of the old halogen systems, run cooler and last longer, the boards can be replaced without replacing the fixture, and color temperature can be warmed or cooled with filters.
FX controllers split the property into zones you can dim, schedule and change from an app, so the patio can stay on after the front of the house goes dark.
Built right below the surface
A good-looking system can still fail if the wiring is wrong. Each cable run has to be sized for its load and its length, or the lights at the end of the line come out dimmer than the ones near the transformer. The cable should be buried, and the transformer and controller set where you can reach them.
How it works
- Walk the property
We talk about what you want to see at night, where you walk, and where you sit.
- Design the plan
Fixtures, beam spreads and zones are laid out on a plan before anything goes in the ground.
- Install
Cable is buried, the transformer and controller go in, and the fixtures are set.
- Aim and set
We aim and dim after dark, then set the zones and schedules and show you the app.

Questions about landscape lighting
How much does landscape lighting cost?
It depends on the number of fixtures, the length of the cable runs and the controls you want. Most projects start with a site visit and a lighting plan, and the estimate is free.
Will LED lights raise my electric bill?
Very little. LED fixtures use a fraction of the power of halogen and most run on a schedule or at dusk only.
Can I control the lights from my phone?
Yes. FX Luminaire controllers can be zoned, dimmed and scheduled from an app.
Can you fix or upgrade an old halogen system?
Yes. We repair damaged or failing fixtures, and we can replace old halogen fixtures with LED and add smart controls you run from your phone.
