Tick and mosquito control

Ticks and mosquitoes are part of living on the East End, but they do not have to own the backyard. We treat the places they live and breed so you can use the yard all season, with organic and natural options if you prefer them.

How we treat a property

Inspection first
We walk the property to find where ticks and mosquitoes live and breed: wood lines, stone walls, tall grass, leaf litter and standing water.
Barrier sprays
A protective band around the edge of the yard and the shady places ticks wait, treated on a schedule through the season.
Organic and natural options
Organic or natural treatments for customers who prefer them.
Larvicide
Treatment for standing water and other breeding spots, which stops mosquitoes before they can fly.
Tick tubes
Tubes of treated nesting material for the mice that carry young ticks, which works on ticks at the stage most likely to bite.
Event spraying
A one-time treatment before a party, wedding or graduation so guests are not swatting all night.

Treated where ticks actually live

Ticks wait in shade and leaf litter where the lawn meets the woods, along stone walls and in groundcover, not in the middle of a sunny lawn. Mosquitoes breed in any water that sits still for a week. A good treatment plan follows them there.

We also tell you what will make your yard less welcoming between visits: dumping standing water, clearing leaf litter, keeping grass and edges trimmed.

Our guarantee

Treatments are applied by licensed, trained technicians on a schedule that keeps protection in place all season. If you are not satisfied with the results between visits, we come back and re-treat at no charge.
